Weeks of research, hours of conversations and the result? The most comprehensive look into Kerbal Space Program 2's development history ever: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtMA594am4M
Suffice to say: it was a mess from the start.
While all the official channels stay silent on the future of Kerbal Space Program 2 and everyone wondering what's going on, I decided this might be a good time to look at alternatives.
So here you have them: Six games to play instead of KSP2.
@dangillmor Temu aggressively sponsors content creators, they also tried to get me to do a bit for them. Never in a million years, even if I were broke would I cooperate with such a garbage company.
There are periods in my life where I can't seem to get anything done.
I know the tasks I need to do. I even begin them.
But it all. takes. so. much. more. time. and. effort.
Way more than at other times where I just breeze through everything (which could be a few days later).
I wish I could control this somehow. It's infuriating not being able to be at full capability all the time.
Kerbal Space Program 2 received a new update this week called "For Science!". In my latest video I show you how it all works and what you need to be aware of especially compared to the original game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtWqQ88wvH4
@arstechnica I always hated full screen BIOS logos. Add this to the list as of why.
And another nail in the coffin of my trust in Gigabyte to update their BIOS in a timely fashion.
My company issued Lenovo already has a patch, my private desktop rig is at the mercy of a company that never was any good with BIOS updates.
Wanna play "For Science!", the first content update for Kerbal Space Program 2? Soon you can! But what can you expect from it? I got some things for you right here in my latest video: https://youtu.be/l5ukdy4XFqQ
I know I have been going on a lot about Space Creator Day, but it was really a great event, and you can join me for a recap of the Ups and Downs (and small catastrophes) of that day here: https://youtu.be/OsZT89WMe3k
Let's gooooooo!
For Framework Laptop 13 (AMD Ryzen 7040 Series) owners, we have a Beta BIOS and driver update available now. This resolves known Linux compatibility issues and includes some additional fixes:
Can anyone explain to me, why so many people appear to be flocking to #Bluesky instead of here on #mastodon ?
I get zero (in numbers: 0) engagement over there, but a lot of organic engagement over here.
Why would I want to go to another billionaire playground social media walled garden?
As reviews drop today, especially when you read about Linux compatibility, read and bookmark this as the source of truth. Note compatibility specifically.
@arstechnica about time. Whether or not Limp can turn the ship around is a different story.
He needs to prioritize getting New Glenn flying (sub prio: stabilize BE-4 development).
But to do that he will need to mend a lot of broken glass that Smith has shattered, especially when it comes to employee trust.
Agile principle five comes to mind: "Build projects around motivated individuals, give them the environment and support they need and trust them to get the job done."
I really wish Davinci Resolve would allow setting a project thumbnail and not automatically choose the first clip that was added to it. Especially when you work off the same template for every project.
Hello new followers! Thanks for coming along the ride with me.
I'll talk about all things space, a lot about the game Kerbal Space Program and of course some general thoughts that I have, because I am still a human being and have multiple interests ;)
People have been waiting a long time for re-entry effects in Kerbal Space Program 2.
We finally have an idea how that is going to look like. And we also got a sneak peek at missions in KSP2!
