So, having missed a few weekday runs the last few weeks, I'm taking a hard line with myself and insisting that I go. Was reminded recently of the Fun Lovin' Criminals album I used to love when I was younger and it's crept back into my playlist. One of the great lines ever written (imo) is "Some of us is wise, and some of us is suckers, and we all bleed red even racist motherfuckers". Perfect.

HIVE MIND!

My teenage daughter is desperate for something good to watch (TV or film). She's pitched I guess around age 15/16 and loves La La Land, Stand By Me, Ladybird. She said comedy but not too much comedy (but didn't want me to mention that's she's watched Brooklyn 99 and Good Place about 4 or 5 times now, so I won't do that). All my suggestions are a bit dated and I wondered if any of you cool cats out there in hipster land might know of some things she might enjoy? X

With everything that's going on in the world, at least Birdseye - a self-proclaimed ethical fishing business, owned by a massive conglomerate, previously fined billions for fraud, artificially inflating the value of produce, price fixing, overturning ethical standards, discrimination, hazardous working conditions, destroying culturally significant land for offices and public health violations - but apart from all that (and all of the product recalls for E.coli, Salmonella and fatal bronchiolitis), an ethical fishing company who use the highly destructive bottom trawlers (responsible for damaging up to half of Norway’s cold water corals reefs), but apart from that an ethical fishing company who buy a third of their produce from pirates who deal in illegal catches and over-fishing.....have commissioned someone to spend 100 hours to make a cute miniature sandwich! Aah, sweet!

As I'm not sure if you're going for oblique/general vibe or specific song about the subject, I am going to suggest We Are The Sun, by SAULT. The debut track from one of my favourites, who imo are one of the best British groups (AND individually as artists) to emerge in years.
