I have to film a mostly outdoor event this week. There is some reasonable separation from the actual crowd, but bringing hepas to use in the semi-enclosed space that will have a few people in it, wearing respirator masks, and thankful that the space is not full enclosed. Unfortunately in this case I have 0 power to request masking for anyone but my team. It is a lot less fun to produce when no one cares, but I keep trying and keep trying to keep people as safe as possible.

Apparently auto correct now just puts apostrophes anywhere on top of changing "it" to "i'd" or "is" and "a" to "as" several times a day. So. Many. Typos. No Way to edit the dictionary or settings 🤦‍♂️

The mystery dog respiratory illness with lots of eye drainage has to be related to covid, right? Like we've known dogs, cats, monkeys, lions, etc. get covid since 2020.

Either way, wearing a mask helps protect your pets from pain and death just as much as it protects you and other humans!

growing ever more concerned over the temu ads I'm getting for shirts that say things like "I love my husband but sometimes I want to square up" (no, literally, I just got served that) or some variation along the lines of "my wife is so annoying and loud but she has a good butt, and I will KILL you if you look at her" - no one buys these...right?...RIGHT?!?!

Idk what exactly possessed me, but I let a door-to-door sales guy inside because it was hot and he asked and I figured I could give him a water bottle. He asked me for a mask seeing that I was wearing one even - probably softened me some. Now I have all the air filters, fans, and windows working full force to make sure the air was cleaned.

I gave him a second waterbottle and a nice Aura "for the road", hope the risk wasn't too high, hope it might have helped him be safer in one way or another.

Might have another video gig coming up & might have a new contractor I've worked with previously, but never hired myself. Was nervous after a recent time, but swallowed my worries & told them that if this gig gets green lit & I hire them they will be required to do covid safety protections like kn95+ masking & testing.
They came back and said they were more than happy to for multiple reasons. I really liked this person already, but was thrilled!

An older family friend said they might not get the updated vaccine "because they are too old for it" which, um, seems to go against even the worst advice we do get regarding vaccines???!???
