Wait, when did tar(1) get the ability to know how to decompress files, so that you can type 'tar xf something.tar.{bz2,gz,xz,7z}' and it works out what decompressor to use. I have somewhere between zero and thirty years of [jJzZ] keypresses on which I want a refund!

Your periodic reminder that VC-funded CEOs are in a situation that they have bet both their kidneys on being able to deliver a 100x return to the bone-saw wielding loan sharks who funded them.

Your “community” is worthless to them unless it delivers Kidney Money.

They cannot just “decide” to not enshittify the community you mistakenly believed was yours. No appeal to justice or fairness will work, unless accompanied by a donor kidney or two.

@jpm it’s kind a pain, you can set up as many shipping zones as you like and assign countries to them. So if you want to be a completist and ship to anywhere you have to reverse engineer auspost’s (or whosever) pricing (or just gouge on “rest of the world” shipping). Once you’ve set it up once you’re good tho.
