Just went through and organized my Home Assistant automations. Since we don't have folders yet, I had to make my own with text. I don't even have that many, but it was such a pain. Any word on some way to better organize these? I'm tempted to move them all into Node Red or somewhere, just for better organization.

Hoping these tallies continue tonight in Texas. The last thing we need is even older judges staying for longer terms.

Also surprised at how many taxations are passing. Water funds, wildlife protection, raises for teachers, improving rural internetโ€ฆwhatโ€™s happening?!

Grrrr. My is taking over 30 minutes to upgrade from 2023.10.3 to 2023.10.5.

Is that normal?

Admittedly, it's running on an ancient Raspberry Pi 2. Should I be upgrading to something better - or is the process always this slow?

If you have personal experience with modern Home Assistant devices, feel free to recommend one to me.

@Edent I use an RPI 4 - 8gb. You could probably get away with a 4GB. I would imagine the RPI 2 is severely underpowered for a normal home assistant installation.

Congratulations to this good boy, Luca, for getting a negative on his Leukemia test! Yesterday we were worried, but today is a day to celebrate! This definitely helps my mental health after a very stressful month. Great that it also happens to fall on .

    Not sure I'd be willing to go the Hue route, since they're going to require an account soon. Maybe, I'll think about it. I hadn't heard about the Nanoleaf bulbs, but I haven't really delved into or yet.

    @homeassistant @homeassistant Looks like I might be going with either IKEA, INNR, or maybe Hue(as a distant third). The Hue depends on how the account creation issue shakes out, and whether or not they(or the others) have the candelabra bulbs. Trying to build a better ZigBee mesh, so I don't know if I'll look into the Nanoleaf.

People have been asking for this for a while, who knows when we'll get it. I don't even have that many automations yet, but I already find the automations page a bit overwhelming.

    So, I went through and set up a basic version of Michael's premise and it works pretty well.

    You create a new view on whatever dashboard and the add the tap_action to the applicable card.

    ex: (provided you have a dashboard named Test and a subview named SVTest)

    @xahteiwi I've had good luck with the old Kindle tablets on woot.com. Looks like there aren't any for sale at the moment, but I picked up two 7in 2019 models, for $20 each, not that long ago.
