It's time again for me to ask if anyone knows of any long term projects or roles in illustration and design!

I have over 16 years experience in working within remote/distributed teams and agencies and am efficient in using Adobe CC, Figma, Webflow, Miro. I've done everything from icon and logo/brand design, editorial, interactive brochures and forms, character design.

Hey Mastodon, I need some advice.

Whilst I am very busy, I am looking for a long term contract for reasons of stability.

I have a Resumé and a site which shows who I am, what I can do, along with a pretty solid testimonial page.

However, I can not seem to get a contract, just individual projects.

I wonder if my Resumé is the problem. I have worked for myself for 16+ years, so the recents are effectively short projects, not full employment as such.

Thoughts are welcome!

I was just looking at the #collective tag to see if there's any design/development collectives, doing important work in an ethically aligned direction.

It's something I've wanted to be a part of for a while. My work is 100% remote/distributed already and I strongly believe that I have the experience to make me valuable. If I had the confidence to do so, I would build my own collective.

I have reached out to some organisations, but that's basically as far as I've got.
