Little white stars, blooming now in the forest: the Starflower (Lysimachia borealis).

Something wrong with Mastodon or my laptop, or some recent updates? Lots of error messages, can't upload a photo, took forever to load my timeline, not even showing photos. Has been a problem already for a few days.

@trumpet Web interface. Opera browser.
My internet connection is fading in and out. There seems to be a problem, but only on this laptop, only in the mornings, ... mysterious. Glad it's not Mastodon.

@trumpet No.
It must be my computer, there were updates.

"Someone feed me!" the youngster yelled 😂 .
The little Ravens have just climbed out of their nest and up the cliff, still wobbly on their feet but practising their wings.
Parents did a very good job. The food delivery was constant, as was the screaming of their kids whenever a parent approached with food.

A bit of a strange day for me, carpentry wise. I finished framing the floor for the addition and hit pause. I went in to see what I’d take on and was suddenly overwhelmed by it all. Realizing there’s still so much to do, and realizing it’ll be worse come sealift when so much arrives and I’ll be racing winter. And overcome with the feeling I’m just not good enough.

I am, and this will pass. But two days in and I just gave up on the day.

Tomorrow.

@NunavutBirder It looks so good. And it's a lot of work. But you'll get there.

Flowering now: Rock Harlequin aka Pale Corydalis (Capnoides sempervirens) is a delicate plant, growing near lakes, often in cracks of boulders.

into the ground, though we could still add to the second row. Will acquire more this week maybe.

Also K replaced the that didn't make it through the winter, and the that didn't survive in an indoor pot past December. Those dark days are tough for it, but we use it very heavily anticipating it won't last.

I think I've only twice managed to get rosemary to last to be replanted in spring.

@ottaross The last few years I managed to keep rosemary alive in the house during the winter, harvesting small amounts every now and then. Mine just needed way more water than I gave them previously when they didn't survive. Had it in a north-facing window.
