    @box464 If you need to sync, then your best choice is probably Apple’s stock podcast app and iCloud. I personally prefer iCatcher, because that is an independent app that comes closest to the legendary AntennaPod, but I use it only on my iPhone.

    Tja, die Autorin entdeckt die Tücken des Instagram Algorithmus:
    "Ich bin selbst schuld, ich hab mir eines dieser Videos in voller Länge angesehen (...) Jetzt denkt der Algorithmus, dass mich das interessiert. Und was soll ich sagen, es tun sich Abgründe voller Lächerlichkeiten auf."

    Zweite Lesson-Learned: Instagram ist nur Show und hat mit dem echten Leben so viel gemeinsam wie "Luke Mockridge (sorry, Luke) mit Menschen, die lustig sind – nämlich überhaupt gar nichts".

    @eliasp @SheDrivesMobility @TwraSun Da ist aber auch reichlich Interpretation mit im Spiel. Der Post des Abgeordneten, dessen Job sicherlich gewisse Privilegien mit sich bringt, beschreibt eigentlich nicht den konkreten Grund seiner Mandatsniederlegung. Das „mehr Zeit für die Familie“ ist vielleicht nur ein positiver Nebeneffekt seiner Entscheidung.

    Ohne mehr Kontext hierzu zu haben, finde ich es schwierig, das als Beleg für die Unvereinbarkeit von Beruf und Familie zu werten.

    @SheDrivesMobility @TwraSun Sorry, aber auch das ist relativ pauschalisiert. Ich sehe wohl die Problematik auf die du hinweisen möchtest, aber so pauschal von „Privilegien“ zu sprechen, wenn man bspw. einen armen weißen Arbeits-/Obdachlosen mit einem vielleicht nicht ganz so weißen Mensch hierzulande mit geregeltem Einkommen und befriedigender Arbeit vergleicht, nur weil der eine weiß ist und der andere nicht, ist m.E. nicht wirklich hilfreich. Lese ich aber trotzdem immer wieder.

    „Auch bei weißen Männern, die in Armut leben, ist ein Privileg gegenüber Schwarzen [die in ebensolcher Armut leben] vorhanden z. B..“
    Ohne den Zusatz könnte man es auch falsch verstehen. Ich gebe aber zu, dass ich keine Ahnung von „Intersektionalität“ habe.

    @2ndStar Ohne wird‘s schwierig mit dem Studium… - wobei ich nicht glaube, dass es an solchen Schulen wirklich diesen Anspruch gibt. Oft gilt auch das Motto „Dabeisein ist alles!“.

    Ich denke, es gibt solche und solche Schulen, und hier geht es vermutlich in erster Linie um die Problemfälle.

    @Tutanota I would use only in a business context. Then it's corporate data, and the company can decide to share it with or not. Having 813 "partners" which use your private data while you use Outlook for your private emails, sounds like a nightmare.

    @Tutanota You are right, I was doing that myself years ago before Microsoft went into the cloud with their "Home Use Program" (HUP). It's good to inform and warn people, but we'll also have to accept that many people just don't care about .

    @atomicpoet I’m pretty sure that Hong Kong would be more than happy if it could still be a British colony.

    Also many of the Europan / US overseas territories are probably better off than other countries nearby. Today’s overseas territories can have many advantages from this status, e.g. by being part of the EU. This is not comparable to the „colonialism“ of the past.
