Yesterday, the abject disrespect afforded to both Fani Willis and Diane Abbott by white men got to me. The hatred for Black women is intense and I feel all of it.

Not denying your experience and it is unfortunate , but that is not “Black men”, that is “Black men you’ve met”.

It isn’t reasonable to paint all the millions of Black men you haven’t met with that brush.

Trump would not have been elected unless there were literally millions of white people voting for him.

If A says racist things and B agrees with A, then B is racist. There are demonstrably millions of white racists as evidenced by Trump still being in the game. That still doesn’t mean all whites are racists.

The other person didn’t interact with millions of Black men.

If you think that as a Black man, me disagreeing that the statement “Black men want to control Black women.” is the equivalent of literal Nazis voting for Trump, but suggesting they are NOT racist, I’m not sure what I can say to convince you that they are not the same.

The Supreme Court ruling on section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment is the greatest defeat of the rule of law that I have witnessed in my lifetime.

Sadly, it was the pessimistic outcome I expected given this Court's burning-in-effigy of any hint of ethics.

Whoever decided that Alexa should preface her first answer of the day with “Good morning, Max,” is a fool.

Don't delay confirming whether you got my instructions right and doing what I asked. Not even by two seconds. Not by one. Acknowledge, then do it. Start the timer. Turn the lights on. Play music.

If I wanted small talk, I'd eschew the self-checkout at the grocery store.

(I never eschew the self-checkout anywhere. I would've done self-checkout on our mortgage if it was possible.)

    question. My 13 mini is on a Qi charger all day long. I'd expect the optimized battery charging to kick in at some point but it simply doesn’t. Put phone on charger, and it’s at a 100%, and remains warm the entire time.

    Is this to be expected with Qi chargers? Do they behave differently than MagSafe or wired chargers?

    I actually went back to plugging in since I thought Qi made my phone too warm.

    I created an automation that lets me know when my phone hits 80%.

    In my car, I unplug when it sounds off.

    The automation also turns off my chargers(hooked to a smart outlets).

    End result: Seems to be really high battery health. Not saying everyone should do this, but that’s what I do.

    80% is my 100.

    🤔Nothing confirms the statistic that most white Americans have zero Black friends more than seeing whole newspaper articles call a "fade," by far the most common, most generic, simplest haircut that's worn by most Black US citizens, a "Travis Kelce."🤦🏿‍♂️

    Even with fancier Black men's haircuts, most start with a basic fade, and get more complicated from there.

    The fade is so common and so foundational that it's how Black barbers are judged. It's like asking an artist to draw a perfect circle.
