This is exhausting. I wasn’t trying to be difficult, I was trying to, I thought helpfully, explain why I didn’t use those tags. But this sort of thing happens like half the time I post photos, and it makes it really unrewarding to take the time to share.

Please respect artists’ choices for how they describe their own work.

@mattblaze wait genuine question, who gets hurt by BnW and monochrome photos? CW has a very important purpose in trauma-aware networks so im wondering if this is a culture thats getting abused/trolled.

    How did britta evolve from being a considerate, empathetic person to the kind that the AltRight project as the feminists archetypes to be like within a single season? Did they britta..britta?

    Like she genuinely made the best political points in the group and that used to be the whole point of her character. She was supposed to be the considerate, nuanced one.

    @maegul i dont know, the britta of season 1 showed genuine insecurities of her own too, like feeling guilt of talking about political issues while not doing much about it, in turn taking part in a protest that would do absolutely nothing for the people they were trying to represent.

    And then talking about upholding feminist values while berating her peers for having a community of their choice. other hand, her understanding of abed and questioning the group's treatment of each other was legit

    @maegul I find jeff to be just a petty, manipulative, sometimes morally ambiguous narcissistic guy who has a bit of an integral root in him, hence making him acceptable as a guy and with a room to grow haha.

    I do like jeff a lot, a lot. All characters are quite amazing. I love watching troy's growth as a person and loved observing the "growth" he had with abed in the first season that i completely missed from my first watch.

    @maegul I probably missed it due to being younger when i first observed the show and going through dissociative disorder and stuff haha.

    @neil @Em0nM4stodon I dont think compliance is ever going to be the issue even if most cis-adjacent or other groups of privileged people leave it. There are enough nazis to fill that site with and keep it compliant with the law, whatever that may be.
