My biggest question about the #Babylon5 universe is do professional sports test for psychic abilities since you know you might be able to tell what route the opposing receiver is gonna run.
This morning for some reason the first thing I did was decide to listen to a random #Sega Game Gear soundtrack. I picked Alien Syndrome because it was the first I saw listed and I enjoyed it immensely.
@famousblueben Oh nice! I don't have any Game Gear ones brewing, but if Mega Drive soundtracks cut the mustard just as well for you, played on guitar, I'm aiming to upload a video including tracks from a couple of them in a day or two.
My friend and I are hardcore fans of Last Podcast on the Left (who are much happier now that we have the very lovely Ed Larson over scrumbag Ben Kissel) who have been charting with one another the little hints Henry Zebrowski has dropped on the Side Stories podcast and Last Stream on the Left that at some point in his life he caught tax charges like it is deep lore hinted at in a novel series.
I think it'll be good for my dad having a part-time job (working at a new Ace Hardware that just opened up in Jacksonville NC), he still has so much energy and motivation the better part of a decade into retirement from the railroad and he's met and befriended so few people since he moved down there outside of my step-mom's social scene when he's a naturally social person.
However, it makes scheduling my weekly call with my dad a lot more difficult cause he works on weekends sometimes now.
@famousblueben I watched Time Cop a few months ago for the first time in forever and I somehow didn't remember that part. My initial viewing in the 90s must've made me black out or something.
This #audiobook of IT by #StephenKing is narrated by Steven Weber and he does such a fantastic job, especially with all the voices he's asked to do including a lot of Maine accents, that I have a much greater appreciate for his acting talents and it makes me excited for getting to watching The Shining minseries he stars in which I picked up on #VHS a few months back for my watch through of Mike Garris's filmography.
On the second of the original 4 TV movies that make up what is now considered the first season of Lexx, and there is simply no other show like this. It veers from dark #comedy and satire to sex comedy to surreal and psychedelic #SciFi epic to even #horror and a musical number
And somehow, despite it definitely being a weird show, I don't get whiplash from it, its tone seems so comfortable with itself that it can touch on so much without falling apart.
If you could really turn a DeLorean into a time machine, I'd really hope somebody would go back in time and warn John about the whole illegal FBI entrapment thing.
I'm generally not a fan of Maxwell House #coffee which I think is inferior to a lot of budget priced name brand coffees including its chief competitor in Folgers, however if you put the label "Caffeine Boosted" on your coffee you're gonna get my attention
Really disappointing that Fox didn't air Anthony "Fast Pasta" Alfredo's #NASCAR post-race interview.
He drives for a small team who often count top 20 runs as a really good day, and not only did he manage to qualify for the Dash 4 Cash $100K bonus by his finish at Talladega, but he had another tremendous run today scoring a second consecutive top 10 in a much less equalized track and beating some better funded equipment in order to score what is a huge cash infusion for a team like that.
On #Peacock I saw a preview for a show where Orlando Bloom does extreme sports to "find something" in himself. I guess it would be too on the nose to call it "Orlando Bloom Has a Midlife Crisis" #TV
