Salmon habitat restoration in southeast . A lot of the things done to restore habitat on small streams, such as removing culverts and restoring wetland areas are also things that help decrease risk.

It’s almost like things were working just fine before we interfered to begin with.

should run at the same frequency on weekends as it does on weekdays. I understand that ridership is less, but it’s not like highways and major roads get smaller during times of less traffic.

Public transit should be dependable on all days.

I went to In-N-Out with my friend Josh and my girlfriend. And then I went to go see Return of the Jedi in theaters. So all around, pretty top-notch day. Exemplary. Would live this day over and over again and would be very happy.

Wednesday looks like a good t-storm day for much of the Inland Northwest with favorable conditions stretching from about the Cascades to Central Montana and from near John Day, Oregon to Edmonton, Alberta including .

I just learned that I can use the Snapchat AI to help me learn Spanish. I had a short conversation with it about my recent trip.

It asked me relevant questions and when I told it I didn’t understand something it would reword it or tell me what it meant in English. Pretty neat.

@mrcompletely Fair question. I expect it’s “close enough for government work.” The things it says make sense given Spanish grammar and verb conjugation, and they are on topic.

I am less worried about basic conversations in Spanish than I am about complex social or scientific topics because of the wealth of information available and the simpler concepts. Also I go into it not expecting perfection.

I am a renewable energy meteorologist based in and forecasting mostly for wind and solar in Washington, Oregon, and California. I have loved since I can remember.

Aside from weather, I am a husband and father who loves being outdoors. Most of my posts will be about weather with some geology and general content mixed in.
