The overall community here is in serious trouble. When I first came here what was refreshing was that we talked, and when we disagreed, we had discussions about it. Now everybody is running to their corners and painting everybody else as a monster instead of talking. I've even seen myself doing it.

I'm considering deleting my account. I dunno. At the least, I think I'll just stick to talking about fun things like transjoy and geek stuff.

@CoachMark You may have the answer. Just talk to my friends on the home feed. And I don't really want to cite examples, to be honest. It IS all out there though, and a lot of it comes down to "Your community does't care about MY community" kinda stuff.

It still gets me the Bible Jesus is a homeless socialist with brown skin, hangs out with 12 dudes and a Prostitute, tells rich people to pay their taxes and give their wealth to the poor, tells the religious leaders that they need to love everyone equally, gets a whip and goes hog on people using religion to sell stuff, and then straight up gets murdered for these beliefs. Yet somehow churches act like he's some kind of Conservative Haircut in khakis and a button up, who would support cutting welfare programs, and would preach Prosperity Gospel.

There's some things I just don't, like how can people possibly be that tuned out of politics? Gawd I wish I could AFFORD to be. But..not a dealbreaker I guess if he's willing to learn an support your politic activity!

Guns are complicated. I own a gun. I consider it a "Just in case society goes sideways" thing. There's no reason for anybody to own an Ar-15, or anything like it.

"He made it clear that he would like to see me again but told me he would not ask me. He said he would leave that up to me, but asked me not to decide last night/say anything either way. He asked that I marinate on it over night because he didn't want me to say yes on the spot and later change my mind."

Ok, maybe this is just me but I actually think this is smooth AF. 😁
