Problema del giorno

Ieri alla Camera degli Stati Uniti il partito a "sinistra" ha votato col 100% dei voti a favore dell'aiuto militare all' aggredita dalla , mentre il partito a "destra" ha votato contro con il 52%.

Qualcuno mi spieghi la "sinistra" italiana.

@elCelio I hardly know anything about the Italian left but if they are in any way similar to the Spanish left, their hatred of the US trumps everything else. If aliens attacked Earth and the US rallied the planet to defend ourselves, they would side with the aliens.

This is the best news I have read all week:

With 134 votes to 0, The European Council unanimously agrees to use seized Russian assets to rebuild Ukraine, effectively creating a mechanism which ensures, everytime Russians destroy another building, Russians will pay for its reconstruction, and every time Russians kill a Ukrainian, his or her family will be paid a compensation by Russians.

@randahl It not the European Council but the Council of Europe. Had it been the European Council that had approved this, the news would be huge. Being the Council of Europe, this is just a political declaration with no tangible effect.

Exactly. For our friends from outside the EU: the Council of Europe is a completely different organization from the EU while the European Council is one of the main institutions of the EU and is composed of the heads of state or government of the 27 EU member states. And if you find the naming confusing, you are not alone.
