When I was going to the secondary school, I drew some characters during boring classes
(most of time in school :blobcatjoy:​). I often drew some kind of nature spirits or elementals, partially inspired by alchemists' belief system. Air elementals for me looked like this, somewhat like angels.

Maybe I should recreate some alchemy-inspired motifs I often drew as a teenager?

@ginnikin No. And it wasn't even any particular character, rather 'default picture' of an air spirit as I imagined them in the past.
I am thinking about more random pictures like this, with other things/creatures/symbols inspired by European alchemy "lore".

France made it legal to allow authorities to turn on someone's camera, microphone and geolocation without their knowledge during some investigations (including terrorism cases)

French authorities are also calling climate protests eco-terrorism.

People who create such weapons often forget power can change hands. And we're all collateral victims.

And yeah, current state of the internet (and tech in general) made keeping privacy difficult and needing many steps. So often it's rather "what to avoid" rather "what to use".

@emill1984 ooo, czyli faktycznie managery haseł to robią. Słyszałam, że Bitwarden to planuje (więc może jego forki też to przejmą??) ale nie byłam pewna czy to możliwe.
Chwilowo nie używam żadnej usługi, która wspiera logowanie przez passkeys, ale chciałabym mieć na wszelki wypadek możliwość użycia tego jakby miało się to bardziej rozpowszechnić (klucze sprzętowe mają limit przechowywanych wpisów passkeys, więc tu wolę rezerwować dla ważniejszych rzeczy).

I think Mastodon people should use the "like" button more.

People are told not to like because liking doesn't broadcast posts like boosting does, and the site needs boosts. And replies are preferred because they're deeper engagement or something.

But, on some level, we want people to keep using Mastodon. If someone posts something and followers like it, they know stuff is getting seen here and they'll want to keep using the site. I just don't see what's gained by holding back on the likes
