Some kind of little bird has made a nice nest on the hanging plant by the door. The eggs have hatched, so I snuck a peak while fetching a package off the porch.

I am ever grateful to intro Linguistics class that introduced me to "Metaphors We Live By". Look for the metaphors people use to describe things (and in SW it is all metaphor: I once wrote a whole paper about this) and think about what they're trying to tell you thereby.

e.g. "Internet is a jungle" = inherently uncontrollably dangerous, your own fault if you get hurt
