I'm aware of the change from major.minor to year.month, but this means, will not provide a real version number in the future, as a release date doesn't tell anything about major.minor or what to expect from a release.

And it looks like they discussed between 24.02 and 24.2...

But is 24.2 a version like 7.7 or a next generation like 8.0?
And what about 24.8?

I miss real versions numbers, that are useful on technical level.

That's why i asked, if there is somewhere one... hidden under the hood... ;-)

Advertising should maybe be separated from engineering... :-)

Die -Bewegung "Fridays for Future" () hat zur Demonstration gegen Rechtsextremismus in aufgerufen. Sie wurde vom Jungfernstieg auf die Ludwig-Erhard-Straße verlegt. Das ist eine Reaktion auf den Massenandrang bei der Demo am Freitag vor einer Woche.

Polizist heute nach der in zu einem Autofahrer damit der den Massen nicht im Weg rumfährt und abbiegen kann. "Ich kann ihnen das Schild wegnehmen, aber sie müssen dann über das Nuppsi drüberfahren". Das Nuppsi war eines dieser schweren Teile mit denen temporäre Straßenschilder festgehalten werden.

Damit ist Nuppsi nun offizielles Behördendeutsch und kann überall benutzt werden.

Even their github shows a PR that was accepted for it yet I cannot find on the app.

As the blocking is happening on the instance server itself, the transmission is already there.

At least the block configuration needs to be checked everytime.

In case of, blocking of IP adresses may be done on webserver level.

But then... to go further, network level would be necessary, i assume.

My wife is looking forward to deleting her Instagram account once she can connect with the same folks from her Mastodon account. It's there an easy way to copy a link that's in a toot in ?
E.g. long pressing on a link does nothing, would love to have a copy/share popup. Or is this an OS thing?

What about using something like "Edition 2023, Version 7.6"?

And btw. i assume, it is possible to develop add-ons for ... how do they check a matching version? As something like "works with 7.x" (checking on major version 7 in the source code) would be no longer possible, right?

And are you sure, that end users will recognize 24.2 as February 2024? 😉
