    Popped over to my old account on firefish dot social and OMG, it's a dumpster fire.

    I mean if the home feed and notifications don't work then what is the point?

    Most of the posts I read were telling folks, hey I'm moving to a new server or which server should I move to? or trying to get help with the endless errors.

    I put out one last message to follow me on kitty.social and I'll be deleting my old account over there in a day or two.

    @MariaTheMartian I just did the same thing...I was surprised at how many people were posting about moving off of the server. I'm going to attempt to delete my account in a couple of days too. Not sure if it'll work or not. 😅

    Just took a look at the local timeline on firefish.social and literally everyone is posting about moving off of the server. 😅 I'm going to attempt to delete my firefish.social account in a few days but I'm honestly not sure if it's going to work due to the amount of errors. Notifications don't load, the home timeline doesn't load either. 🤷 Nothing really works on there like it's supposed to.

    @miri2k22 It seems to be getting worse as time goes on. I don't know what happened, firefish.social started out so well and seems to have gone downhill. It's hard to use a site when you get constant error messages. It looks like a lot of people are leaving judging from the posts on the local timeline.

    @faizalr I think you have to have a blog on wordpress.com. The writing prompts are in the Jetpack app. Maybe it's available for wordpress.org blogs too but I'm not sure.

    Thinking about deleting my Pixelfed account 😆 I love Pixelfed but I already have my blog on the fediverse and Mastodon which is a lot to deal with. I don't really post on my Pixelfed account like I thought I would. 🤷

    As of yesterday I've started spending a lot more time on the Jetpack app compared to social media.

    I discovered you can follow any website using the WordPress Reader, something I wasn't aware of. I thought you could only follow sites that were on WordPress with the Reader. 🤯 So obviously this changes everything. 😁 I'm really enjoying it so far, it feels much calmer than being on social media.
