@karolherbst highly recommended. I'm using it less these days for a number of reasons none of which are related to actual issues with the client, but I highly recommend it for anyone that needs CLI or TUI access to Mastodon. IIRC it also has a decent degree of compatibility with other server software although I haven't had much of an opportunity to test that @ihabunek
@drgroftehauge@mcc I think the bignè is cooked in the oven. In Sicily we have the “castagnole” («little chestnuts») that are similar, but deep-fried, something like this:
One of the things I love about discovering old #webcomics that are still running it seeing how the art changed and improved over the years. It's fascinating.
One of the things I hate about discovering old webcomics that are still running is that there are only 24 hours in a day and catching up takes a lot of time.
I'm getting "your work looks like Masters of the Universe" so often that I'm going out of my way to make this guy who HAS A SKULL FOR A HEAD not look like Skeletor.
I just realized that all perfect squares mod 9 can only be 0, 1, 4, 7, but I can't find an easier proof than by exhaustion (square all numbers 0 to 8, mod 9). Is there a more elegant proof of this?
mod 11 has a wider choice (0, 1, 3, 4, 5, 9), but I wonder how good of a “perfect square detector” they can be together. Of course if either proof (by 9s and by 11s) fails, it's not a perfect square, but how many “not perfect square” are perfect squares both mod 9 and mod 11?
I need to get my mind off the bad. Anything good going on tonight for anyone? Feel free to share things your excited about or happy about or just cool stuff you've come across recently
The “free but has ads” fallacy: if I can’t afford your paid tier I certainly can’t afford to buy anything from the ads you’re blasting at me. The only ones who actually benefit from this model are ad companies themselves, not the advertisers and certainly not the end user. #enshittification#youtube
@operationpuppet the fallacy assumes that the reason the person not buying the “no ads” tier did it because they can't afford it and not because it hides the cost. (Fully agreed on the last part, still.)
@Ottobre suggerimento: se nel link al tuo profilo Mastodon che c'è in fondo al sito aggiungi l'attributo rel="me", il link al tuo sito dal profilo Mastodon sarà “verificato” (segno di spunta verde).
