@bunvoyage17 @coffee Congratulations ... you picked the worst weekend of the year to visit Austin. 😂 SXSW will be in force, so you will want to steer clear of the city core.

(I'd say north of 38th or south of Oltorf should be pretty clear of that crowd.)

Walnut Creek park might be a place to catch a bit of outdoors, while avoiding the SXSW crowd.

@bunvoyage17 @coffee Veracruz All Natural is a popular choice for tacos, has a number of locations, and has vegetarian/vegan choices.

They have a trailer at RADIO, which is a coffeehouse with a huge patio. But their parking is a nightmare, so be prepared.

is interview 3 of (unknown) for a new w2 job. Can I send these companies a bill for wasting my goddamn time?

Everyone I've talked too has agreed that I'm a great fit and each new interview is just a different person on the team who also "needs" to meet me.

Just gather all of the team into a zoom conference or watch a recording of the other interviews guys.

I'm gonna tell them to make a decision or I walk at interview five. If you can't manage your time better than this I'm out.

Appliance manufacturer Haier is bullying open source developers who produce smart home integrations.

I'm trying to update my insurance info through the Walgreen's website. I'm stumped by this inscrutable prompt.

I'm not sure what they are asking for. I tried zip, store address, my address. None worked.

So, I tried "up your poop chute". That didn't seem to work either.

I seem to bust my phone screen on trips. About a year ago, I busted the screen on my Pixel 6A on a trip to MA. The Asurion store fixed it quickly, but damaged a sensor on the main board. Asurion approved full replacement.

With that, I bought another Pixel 6A, and used the trade-in on the busted phone to buy Assurant insurance coverage.

I busted my phone last weekend, on a trip to NOLA. Assurant easily honored the claim and Asurion in Austin promptly fixed it.

It was a positive experience.
