I've not heard of Zoh Amba. Sounds amazing! (I share Geoff Dyer's view that free jazz is a live experience: it didn't work at home for me at all. I think it requires concentration.)

Well, dawn has come, it’s nearly 6am, so that’s another night over. It was unpleasant, but not at gruelling as over the weekend as I finally found a distraction I could focus on. Now time to start worrying about meeting my supervisor at midday 😬

@rebelrebel62 I've seen that criticism of the Greens, but I'll admit I don't get it. I'd feel differently if they were to vote against the government in Labour's confidence vote (were it to come before parliament), but after the clumsy way they were ejected from coalition, I wouldn't expect them to support Yousaf in the Tory confidence motion.

@rebelrebel62 I think it might work out well electorally for the Greens, especially if the SNP rolls back on the socially liberal agenda - I think many younger voters might switch from an SNP that has moved to the right to the Greens. But I agree it's not good for independence.

@ferryoons @rebelrebel62 for me, it came from Ash Regan and Kate Forbes when they were standing for leader of the SNP last year.

@GezThePez @MadeyeTheCarnaptious @ferryoons @rebelrebel62 not much in terms of new ideas, I would guess. I've no idea what their manifesto is.

They're unlikely to win outright, though. Holyrood was designed to produce minority and coalition governments.

I can't see Labour working with Tories or SNP. Maybe they could cobble something together with Greens and LibDems after the next Holyrood elections?
