Gramps is right. If you want to be a writer you have to know your subject. The best writers write about what they know. Asimov was a scientist, Dickens wrote about the world around him. Remember fiction is harder to do than reality, cos everything has to make sense, while reality is just crazy. Start small, write short stories about what's happening around you. Words have power, so get a thesaurus. Be prepared for a lot of criticism, but don't let the bad stuff put you off your dream.

I had a real strange conversation on the bus this morning. I was in the back laughing and joking with my boys . White guy in the front turned round and said to me ' Son why is it ok for yall black people to call each other nigga but not us '

I didn't say shit coz da guy was like 200 pounds bigger than my skinny ass. But wtf ! These people 🙄

A lot of it is down to the orange fart Trump using the fascist playbook. Create scapegoats to blame for everything and the hard of thinking fall for it . All the petty minded stupid predjudices come out cos morons are too dumb to realise they're being played.
