The defrost cycle in my refrigerator's freezer is broken, so every now & then I have to unplug & manually defrost it, chipping away a small glacier that could make many cocktails. Freezerburn martini, anyone?
One of the things I loved best about college dorm life was community access without the need to put on shoes. This is the promise of urbanism, compact communities, and I miss and want that.
More to the point, and I know many people have said this before me, but walkable communities like college campuses are how we should model our cities. It's objectively better.

@enobacon I have to explain this to people all the time. Anywhere I can drive in 10 minutes I can bike in 20. That's 20 minutes of activity that only "cost" me 10, for free, and I always feel better afterward. Better than coffee.
I absolutely don’t need what is almost certainly an ice cream scoop to ball a melon, certainly not one of this scale, but my philosophy is to use the good stuff while I’m here.
My current TV died before the longevity/price ratio of my last TV (that I had fixed once) and I'm not even going to try to fix it. I know the crazy number of complicated factors why, but it still makes me sad.
