Just looked up how to do callbacks in C++ and YOU CAN'T (unless you write a bunch of templates and wrappers yourself).

When you pass a pointer to non-static member function, yopu need to handle the class pointer yourself. This is like the simplest thing, why can't C++ have that?

Love how the ISO standard website just tells you "Don't". What a joke.

And don't gatekeep other people's code. Let people program however they want.

Worst thing is, person posting this DOES use early return in their code.

I think programmers just think they're better than others. "I can do this, but you can't". Don't be like that. It's not OK.

I hate CMAKE. That's the post. Just hate it.

Why the FUCK does CMAKE generate VS project files that depend on having CMAKE installed on your system? And it has to be in a fixed path? And EVERYTHING has to be in a fixed path?

Have CMAKE developers ever compiled something or used version control? This is unusable and I am very angry and it's Monday and I haven't had my coffee yet.

Is it possible to tap diedcty into an NPU (Ryzen AI or Intel thing) to make it do some calculations for me?

All the SDKs and examples I find are Python Tensorflow/PyTorch stuff. I just want direct route to the NPU, to make it do matrix calculations. Also, no python, give me C/C++ bindings!

Is that a thing? I can’t seem to find any source on that.
