@christianselig or Qi2 in general on the 12 mini. Enabling it seems like a mistake. The small form factor can’t deal with the heat. I have better charge results with my old MagSafe

@adam have you heard of folks having issues reaching some of your .lol sites? specifically those that resolve to 5.78.24.5? Been trying to figure out why I can't load them suddenly from home (feels like a Verizon Fios issue).

Finally found a good use for both our garage webcam and on the ; two things I don’t typically get much value out of.

  2. My wife is the video star because my back has been out for 2 days. 😩

@kevinctofel I wanted to do this with my Nest footage. Unfortunately, the newer versions (Google Home app only cameras) heavily restrict the video history and what is downloadable. I feel like I missed this on your old podcast and it’s infuriating how limiting Google has made it.

🆕 post — How many towels does one person need?

If you’re like most people, I’m betting there are at least five bath towels per person in your house. Maybe even six or seven. That’s just a guess; I’ve never seen any official statistics on such an important question.

Here’s my answer (including the type of towels), which lets me save time, space, money, and resources as part of my lifestyle.

🆕 blog post -- My personal CMS (prototype)

As a developer in training for a while (too long, TBH), I don't have a robust project portfolio. So I decided to rectify that with a personal project. It's possible, although unlikely, others would want to use this project.

I decided that since I recently started tinkering with as an SSG, or static site generator, I would create a web-based CMS, or content management system, for it.

@kevinctofel I’ve been wishing I could figure out a workflow to use SSGs at work instead of Drupal in some cases. But it always felt like you’d end up rebuilding Drupal, lol (not that I ever have those skills).

But I bet there’s a few people out there that wouldn’t mind this

Hmm. Apple will give me $1300 for my 2-year old $4000 laptop. I’m tempted? I would sell for $1500 or $1600 to anyone out there who wants a 14” M1 Max with 64GB of RAM and 10/32 core and Apple Care+

@film_girl lol, I just bought one (2TB) a couple months back. Figure M1 Max would still hold its own against a new m3 pro (esp with 64GB/2TB pricing). Starting to wonder if I should have waited, lol (I knew it was coming, too, was drawn in by 64GB/2TB on board in my budget).

@TechConnectify I've always wondered this. I come from the Red/Google Music days. So it very much is a great value to me since no ads for the family (especially parents).

But I've always wondered how my money gets to creators, if with any significance.

Also, I'm bound by YTM now because it seems stupid for me to pay for another.

@pixelfed seems pretty straight forward. Maybe enlarge the radio button text to emphasize it more.

And then add a confirmation page after this. Very short text. “This CANNOT be undone. This will permanently delete your data “ and have a few random picked images show from their stream.
