So I'm going through the installation of (at long last!) and the "Clean Install" option is making me sweat.

I basically have 4 main drives, 2 and 2 of the same model and size. 2 for data and 2 for OS. One of the OS drives is empty and the other has Windows, which I'm certainly not ready to erase just yet.

The "Clean Install" option doesn't clearly show which drive I should be picking (I used Gparted to check them out and see which one is empty).

Anyway, it's installing now! 😬

Btw, pleeeaaaase let me pick languages to pin on the post menu! I keep having to hunt down Spanish whenever I need to use it.

I don't remember needing to do it in vanilla UI. And if I recall correctly, vanilla has a searchable drop-down menu for it.

Nobody seems to have noticed it but the Mastodon project have been granted funding by @NGIZero in the Entrust fund.

This is amazing, but the best part is that this funding is targeted at implementing… Quote Posts 🎉

This effort started several months ago and we already did some preliminary work, but this will be a big feature for our next 4.4 version. This funding will cover the ActivityPub work, as well as backend, web frontend and official mobile app implementation.

This is one of the reasons I learned English, in the first place. To interact with a wider, more diverse group, and so that my irl people won't be able to enter this safe haven (they only speak Spanish).
