Yesterday I boosted a post that said the author was working on "a written history of significant moderation decisions in the fediverse" and as a scholar I support this in a general sense.

But later I saw it go by again and clicked thru to bio/linked site--& then unboosted, bc I can't tell who's behind it & whether it's ultimately just pot-stirring re fedi conflict.

However, we do need a folklorist for the fediverse, I've been saying this for a while.

So, when we were standardizing Activity Streams 2.0 in the Social Web Working Group, I built a data validator to test Activity Streams implementations. It's linked in the AS2 standards; it's at as2.rocks.

I didn't maintain it, and eventually the domain renewal failed, and someone snagged it. It's been dormant for a few years now.

Yes, that was bad.

But! I just got it back! as2.rocks once again. I'm going to be setting up the validator again and we'll see how it works out.

My 11-yo found a wild frog and kept it alive in a terrarium for 2 months until he tragically found it dead yesterday, so today he made a linocut of it in memoriam (teaching him to channel grief towards creativity)
