Struggling a bit with the disgusting news about #windows and the #Recall software. I am considering switching to @vanillaos, but it feels like a risk for some reason... Is it worth the trouble of switching?
I swear it's not like I've forgotten how to make videos.
It's just that I have University lessons and exams. Also, I have a job. And 2/3 other (cool) commissions. And some extra courses. And chess training & tournaments. Oh and I want to start going to the gym
I want to start getting into "conventional commits" like "feat: x", "fix: x", etc. Especially if I'm going to work on more public/open-source projects this year, it might be beneficial. And it might also encourage me to keeo my git history a bit more organised.
@chrishannah interesting. I am reacting a bit to the "feat" label. Over time, my preference has morphed towards full worded keywords. It's obviously a subjective thing of mine, and no dolphins die because of shortened kwds.
@chrishannah Interesting map. Poland is definitely worth visiting. I enjoyed the trip I did when I went there: flew into Warsaw and visited; travelled by train to Krakow and visited; and flew out from Krakow. IMO, you can't say you have seen Europe until you have been in the Auschwitz museum (among other places, of course, but that one is just surreal/insane yet crucial to see)
One thing I've noticed on this trip that I haven't before is the battery on my 2 year old phone just doesn't hold a charge the way it used to. Also, there seems to be something about when it's on a plane that it struggles with. I don't know if I have a service running in the background or something that's burning through battery faster when it can't reach the Internet or not, but the battery is draining significantly faster when I'm in the air than on the ground. Research on that required.
The Fatalii is about the same heat as habanero. But much better flavor. The heat is more enjoyable too. For sure a multiple plant grow for next season. One small plant is just not enough. I might only have 40 pods for one year.
@BrodieOnLinux What we need is very simple: An additional layer of reviewing. That is, an additional YouTube channel to review tech YouTube channels. If that additional channel f*cks up, then we need a further layer of review. Just keep adding review layers.
I chose 💕 as the logo for the Small Web to consciously make a point about its non-commercial and non-colonial approach, post-capitalist ideals, embrace of the diversity of the web, and because I couldn’t care less about legally defending it under trademark law.
@aral
When it comes to TMs, it's important to assess if the indentificative mark being used (in this case, this seems to include the various appearances that a unicode code point may have in a user's device (not a PNG export from inkscape)) infringes on somebody else's TM rights. The question about the validity of a TM (or, as you say, "defending it") comes up separately.
And now, we can all wake up from the numbing effect caused by this response :) sorry for that
