@futurebird you are much wiser than me, i once got a hat pulled in by the wind created from a train, in paris, onto the track, i looked at the time for the next train, which was 3 minutes i think? went down the stairs at the end of the dock(?), walked to it, picked it up 😬 and made the way back. Terrible idea for sure, but another one of these i survived. 😅

Yes, they are far from perfect.
But with a small fraction of what these closed source vendors are raking in, these tools could be made immeasurably better.
And they won't end up bought up and enshittified, as experience with past attempts at doing that to FLOSS tools shows.

C'était assez tranquille, mais après 8 ou 9 nas d'inactivité, alors que je n'avais jamais fait plus de 20km, il y a 6 mois, je suis déjà content de ces 5 jours. Surtout que dans les 6 mois, il y a une entorse et une pneumonie.
Petit côté autosatisfaction, désolé, mais je suis quand même content.

@scy Happy to help, i was also stumped by the redrawing problems i was seeing, even when the mapping applied, the initial expansion was invisible for me, until i added some text causing a redraw.
I guess considering it's at the same place, it's not totally surprising that silent cause issues when the output is in the command line.

@pb C’est vrai que la vidéo est assez ridicule, mais on sait qu’il y a des français, ayant été formé par l’armée française, ayant travaillé dans celle-ci, etc, qui sont actuellement, de leur propre volonté et en leur propre capacité, sur le terrain en ukraine, ils sont payé par l’armée ukrainienne comme n’importe quels soldats, ce ne sont pas des mercenaires, et ce n’est pas la france qui les envoie, une vidéo bien plus réelle aurait donc été possible.

@mina yeah, i’ve been wearing glasses most of my life, so i’m used to that, but VR is another level, when i started on the quest 2, i really felt like i was snorkeling, the quest 3 has a slightly larger field of view that makes things more tolerable, but the effect persist a bit.
Some people still have a hard time with me wearing my VR headset while they are around 😆, i can see them with passthrough, but they still feel like there is a barrier, it seems.
