@ThatGamer I am not affiliated, at all! I remember playing this about 20 years ago on the PC - well, part of it, not all of the game. The remaster is pretty nice, I'm still as lost in the levels as I ever was. It's fun, blasty (I've always been a DOOM / Quake / Wolfenstein fan), and they seem to have done a nice job with the cut scene updates. I'm also a #StarWars fan, so it's difficult for me not to enjoy it.

Just realizing now that the transition from using my Razer Blade Stealth as my laptop to my Steam Deck was partially made seamless thanks to USB-PD!
Am totally able to re-use the same charger and carry on as I did before, just with a big pouch instead a simple laptop in a sleeve.
It's not the original OEM charger since that hardwired cable on that started to fry and fail while I was traveling, but that just goes to show how accessible third-party options are. ✨
This unfortunately won't be the case with my Framework Laptop once it arrives, but that's not because of USB-C (mostly).
My existing charger just doesn't output enough since I'm specifically buying the 16" for power, which requires higher power than existing standards supported at the time.
The Framework team seems to be doing a lot of good work to ensure that it'll support the profiles that my Steam Deck and other devices will support though, so I'm covered yayayay
@terrehbyte I'm just jelly of u guys having access to the Framework. It's still limited to just Taiwan in Asia, so I'll have to pick one up while traveling.
It also means that I can't get replacement parts easily without flying somewhere.
We have had the #SteamDeck OLED for 3 months now, and after using it, we have some thoughts on whether the upgrade is a worthwhile one to invest in if you already have a LCD version.
@steamdeckhq I have been on the fence about upgrading to an OLED since it released. I have decided I'm going to go for it, but I'm going to wait for the next sale to pick it up.

@steamdeckhq I have gotten the game before the patch, I avoid the Linux proton of the game as it had alot issues, with proton it ran fine with few small issues. Not sure after the 1.0 update, only got in and see if any issues with Linux port if not I'll go back using proton.
I loved this game so much back on iOS and I remember it being hard as heck. But I still managed to finish it! Maybe it’s time to retry it on #SteamDeck?

@steamdeckhq It is? I tried it the other day (Ryzen 1700X, 7800XT, 64Gb RAM, bazzite) and the framerate was all over the place with every version of proton I tried, ended up refunding and getting Helldivers instead.
@sp4rkr4t@steamdeckhq it’s been alright so far on my end. Solid 40 FPS with under 17W battery drain. I’m still earlier in the game, but working towards later on. Have had a lot of enemies and effects on screen though!
I need to remind myself to occasionally look through #Decky plugins to see what’s new. Finally added HLTB (How Long to Beat) and discovered Screenshot Uploader (auto-uploads new screenshots to Steam).
Otherwise already had Decky Recorder and SteamGridDB. Any other recommendations?
More options mean mo' problems: seems like my #SteamDeck fails to enter Desktop Mode if I capped the refresh rate of the display. No cap = no issue!
This started with SteamOS 3.5 which unified the slider for refresh rate and frame limit into one, which is convenient for Game Mode, but now conflicts with Desktop Mode... 😅
