yesterday @sustainrelease mentioned cรฉsaria รฉvora's 'club sodade' album. i hadn't listened in a while so i gave it a spin, and immediately remembered i'd seen her live soon after sodade came out. it's a long time ago and i don't remember details, but the image of a barefoot singer spinning around on a carpet, lit cigarette in hand, is one that stays with you

I remember having missed the opportunity of seeing her live in town. I'm really sorry about it. (I was relatively young, and the tickets costly for me at that time). I console myself by watching the recording of her concert at the #ZenithTheatre in #Paris once in a while.

I love how she sits down, seemingly falling asleep, but getting up right on time to perform her vocals. What a wonderful singer! ๐Ÿ‘

Der zur Europawahl ist da!

Manche halten es fรผr eine Spielerei. Gerade, wenn man in einer Partei ist, hofft man immer, dass die auch wirklich Top-Ergebnis ist. Aber die Prozentzahl kann nur der Anfang sein.

Bei mir lang eine andere Partei deutlich davor. Die Abweichungen waren aber nur in mir unwichtigen Themen. In den wichtigen Dingen bin ich mir mit meiner Partei einig. Es lohnt, genauer hinzuschauen.

Spanned. Die Details kenne ich zwar nicht, aber es ist bekannt, dass die portugiesische PS von Mario Soares massiv durch Gelder der SPD gefรถrdert wurde. (und diese auch darauf hinwirkte, dass die PS einem gemรครŸigten Kurs folgten sollte.)

Als Nebengeschichte hatte ich heute entdeckt, dass der junge Gรผnter Wallraff 1977 aufdeckte, wie General Spinola in Deutschland bei StrauรŸ (wem sonst) versuchte Geld fรผr eine rechte Konterrevolution einzusammeln.

Das Sinnvollste scheint es zu sein, wenn wir einfach alle zu Microsoft gehen. Einfach fallen lassen. Windows 11, Microsoft 365. Alles in der Cloud.
Die machen das schon richtig. Und wie geil kรถnnten wir zusammenarbeiten, wenn alle bei Microsoft wรคren? Alle Regierungen der Welt. Jede Verwaltung, alle Unternehmen, alle Universitรคten und Schulen und alle Vereine. Es gebe nur noch eine Software von einem Anbieter, der sich super um alles kรผmmert. Usability. Sicherheit.

Being a fanboy, I happily use the mail client for most of my professional correspondence, but I also like to have my private e-mail handled in a separate client.

In most cases, my go-to option for this is . Today, however, I installed on one of my machines (a fork of , as I read?). It looks and feels pretty good on first sight. Does anyone have experiences with that client on ?
