W miejscach gdzie nie ma ruchu samochodowego Pusia idzie luzem, i naturalnie, widząc innego psa (oczywiście na smyczy), zbliża się, żeby się zapoznać. Ponieważ utrzymuje dystans i jest nieagresywna, nie ma niebezpieczeństwa. Jedynym problemem są ludzie. :smile:
W większości przypadków wystarczy podejść i porozmawiać, bo po reakcji własnych psów widzą, że nie będzie kłopotów. Już jedna starsza pani, jak nas widzi, to puszcza swoją suczkę, żeby sobie koleżanki pobiegały. Inni opiekunowie nie są tak skorzy, ale większość nas już zna i nie robi dramy.
Dzisiaj się trafił nowy osobnik, z dwoma psami na krótkich smyczach (nieduży szpicowaty i szczeniak w typie boksera). Na całe szczęście (potem wyjaśnię) już z daleka zaczął groźnie wykrzykiwać typowe "zabierz pan tego psa". Zanim doszedłem na odległość spokojnej rozmowy, wydarzyły się dwie rzeczy:
Zdążyłem wygasić moją instynktowną morderczą reakcję. Sława niech będzie wenalfaksynie, L-tyrozynie i dostatkowi snu.
Puśka zdążyła podejść na jakiś metr do psów, zorientować się w sytuacji i cofnąć, cały czas na spokojnie.
A ja - już z jakichś 5 metrów, mogłem już spokojnie powiedzieć dzień dobry i opowiedzieć gościowi to, co sam już widział, że jego psy były nastawione pozytywnie i chciały się bawić (i tak nie pozwolił), i w ogóle nie było żadnej spinki z ich strony. Burknął jeszcze "jak to suka, to dopiero będzie" - ale jakoś nic nie było. :smile:
Standardowo zaprosiłem go na nasz plac zabaw dla psów (u mnie mają wybieg na działce), grzecznie się pożegnałem i poszliśmy dalej.
Dopiero po parunastu metrach, jak mnie zaczęło ściskać za mostkiem, zorientowałem się, ile mnie kosztowało, żeby nie odpowiedzieć w pierwszej chwili agresją, wytrzymać niepewność (zawsze jest) jak się psy zachowają i przeprowadzić rozmowę po swojemu, do względnie uprzejmego końca.
To był pierwszy raz, kiedy zaobserwowałem świadomie ten proces, głównie dzięki temu, że nie byłem w emocjach. Od teraz będę się już zawczasu nastawiał, żeby nie było tego stresu.
Wielkie podziękowania dla Terminatora, który dawno temu pokazał mi, że jest zawsze więcej niż jedna możliwa reakcja, i mogę świadomie wybierać. Jak widać, wciąż nad tym ciężko pracuję.

yo por ejemplo he tocado #GnomeTerminal, #Terminator, #guake, #yakuake, #kitty y #alacritty que recuerde. Pasé un largo tiempo usando #Guake hasta que extrañé mi tecla F12 y decidí usar un área de trabajo completa solo para el terminal, como hago ahora.

From a bot cutely named Cameron (after James) to bots developing traits representing aspies. Then contrasting her with HAL9000 and Shirley Mansonbot to look at the nature of sentience and divergence masking
Or a no-fuss trans one-off char (cis actor) inserting dialogue about identity in passing

Teyon's next game after the underappreciated #TerminatorResistance is set in the #RoboCop universe, between the second and third movie, and actually stars Alex Murphy himself, #PeterWeller.
Yes, it does look...rough, but it captures the feeling of RoboCop quite well. It's also a lot more interactive than one might think, very much in the vein of that #Terminator game.
The demo allows you to play the prologue and the first act of the story.
@Ductos It was a bit of a train wreck on my machine. It self-configured graphics to run at ~20 fps, and once I could tweak it myself, it was going back and forth between 60 and 22 fps. Also, it crashed completely shortly after fixing the power. I wish it felt more like controlling Robocop as seen in the movies instead of a very slow machine. I may have missed something, but the robovision also seemed more or less irrelevant rather than the targeting system from the movies.

I was missing some iconic lines like "Your move, creep." or "Dead or alive, you're coming with me.". But hey, at least he does the twirl.

@ai6yr Being able to swim is fundamental. Knowing when to stay out of the water may be even more important.
If you get into the water, how are you getting out?
What's the temp? How long can you survive in water of that temperature? Having grown up in a port city in a northerly climate, it was drilled into us that getting into cold water is rarely survivable. Most of the year the water temperature was around 4C. You have maybe a minute before your whole body seizes up in that temp.
