Honestly relieved that #Croatia didn't win, that was not a song fit to win #Eurovision.
Congrats to #Switzerland and to #Israel for securing the victory of the televote.
While some privileged idiots were booing the country another hostage was killed by #Hamas, if you want peace, ask it to whom can provide it. This war wouldn't exist if Hamas didn't chose to provoke it and continue it till today.

@bossito@djasa@elad Hamas did not want it to end a week after 7.10; what you're thinking of is a leak by Qatar months after the fact, while it was under a lot of pressure from the US for its role in helping Hamas. A week after 7.10 Hamas was till talking about committing more such attacks until Israel was destroyed. The first time it was serious about a ceasefire was not long before the first ceasefire happened.

My favorites in the first semifinal are: #Croatia, #Finland (NO RULES!!), #Ukraine, #Luxembourg (thank you for that earworm!), #Moldova and #Australia (bits in the Yankunytjatjara language are very much appreciated, spread and keep your culture!). #Eurovision
#Croatia 🇭🇷 Day 6.1! It started with a #run. This time it was much better and my tempo went way below 6min/km. It’s not growing on me, the #running. I still miss my #cycling!😩

#Croatia 🇭🇷 Day 5.1! #Waterfall galore at #KrkaNationalPark! A brief boat cruise, stunning views, nice paths to walk on with kids. It was a lot of people, can’t even begin to imagine how it is in high season…😁 Kids were having a blast seeing such a big waterfall for the first time!🥰
#Croatia 🇭🇷 Day 5.2. We’ve ended the day in #Sibenik with a not so easy walk to #TvrdavaSvMihovila, a real struggle with a stroller. Then some pizza and ice cream, cut short by the income rainfall…😁🤷🏻♂️
#Croatia 🇭🇷, Day 4.2! We went to see #Kastelina, which was not really much, just a few walls. Then some time on a beach, kids could plan on a kid-size cliffs… We’ve ended the day with some tasty food at #PizzeriaToni, one of the few off-season opened venues…😂🙈
@mlabowicz Probably because it will. There was a point in time, a few years ago, I was running at a respectable pace of 4:30/km at 10km. I was in a great shape! Stopped, because I’ve been running 4-5 times a week, on the top of cycling 300-400km a week for around half a year. My knees gave up…🤷🏻♂️
#Croatia, Day 2.2. Later on we went to Pag. We’ve seen pretty much nothing, but we had some food. It’s off-season, apparently and everything is mostly closed… After, we went to the beach. At least this was nice…🙈

#Croatia, Day 3. We visited #DugiOtok, #Sali and #Telascica park. We had to take a ferry, which sparse cruising hours put a strain on our far from punctual family. We spent some time on the beach at #JezeroMir, looking at some crabs and sitting in the shadows, like vampires…🥰😂 The 2,5km walk was a nightmare with children…🤡
First, we didn’t do the online check-in with RyanAir so they charged us extra €250 for printing the tickets.
Car rental we’ve booked did not accept debit cards for deposits, so we couldn’t get a vehicle from them. We’ve got THE LAST ONE from the only rental that didn’t need credit card…🤦🏻♂️ Of course it was slightly more expensive but that was a life saver.
We’ve now arrived at our place and at least that went well.

We also had some troubles. My daughter insisted on starting this kite this way despite onshore wind. She learned the hard way about wind direction. Luckily we figured out the way to get the kite off the tree on the left ;)

@timrichards@travel No crowds in Dubrovnik or Split this time of year. It starts picking up around Easter and slows down in November. The weather is cooler, and you might get rained out. But for us it's worth it to avoid the crowds.
