Who likes #ACapella around here? Anybody? Face Vocal Band (facevocalband.com) is based in Boulder, CO. They’ve toured the world with great success. Here’s a mashup they do of Jessie’s Girl and Stacy’s Mom, that they always do at their Mothers Day shows. They do covers and originals. https://youtu.be/Aksp9JBLu24?si=pE_Yh57qcAzCz-5a
Hallo Mastodon/dresden.network!
Dann immer her damit :)
Und gibts nen Hashtag für Chöre oder Musiker auf Mastodon? #Chor#acapella
The entire cover project itself was organized by small fan music collective The Jukeblockers over the course of several months, and includes a total of 11 sung languages, from the typical French to the obscure Ancient Hebrew.
I like to post these experiments here first, before I push them to my sketchpad known as SoundCloud.

I wanted to see how simple I could make the harmony, and test my sense that the whole song is one giant chord (it is, give or take a passing tone or two!)
One track sings the melody, the rest hold a single note from that same melody.
It's not polished, just an experiment for your ears
Don't forget to stream Good Omens (Seasons 1 and 2), give them good ratings, keep sharing it across social media and support the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes to help make Season 3 happen! The writers and actors deserve a livable income and reasonable work hours/conditions, as well as the opportunity to make the high-quality art they want to share with the world 💚
To celebrate 500+ Kabbidges, here's the cover of "Song of Lament" from Elden Ring I promised. We are now halfway to my face reveal at 1,000 Kabbidges, thank you so much for all your support over the years! 🥬🦇💚
If I were a stripper, my stage name would be Tetri$ and I’d slide down the pole forming my body into the shape of Tetris pieces, but mostly just the vertical stick piece because I don’t have any upper body strength, but who cares because everyone knows that’s the best piece, anyway.
