Several years ago we, as a village, bought 50 acres of land in our village and turned it into a nature reserve. We've planted over 5,000 trees, created three natural ponds, and laid 1.5km of paths for everyone to enjoy (level and wide for wheeled carriages of all type). Beyond this more sculpted 8 acres are a remaining 40 laid to wild. It's a joy to wander around these more rugged areas
Today's #Hiking tour. A thread in 3 parts. The first part starts out foggy. It keeps raining which clears up the fog later. The images show my path through the not too snowy, but foggy and wet #Winter#Woods.
I took these shots on yesterday’s #Hiking tour on #Trails in our nearby forest in #Solothurn, #Switzerland. It was a sunny, fresh, yet still warm #Autumn#Afternoon. Hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy hiking on these beautiful trails. 🤣
@evelynefoerster and I were on #Vacation on to a very special occasion to #Austria 🇦🇹 two weeks ago. We enjoyed it very much and had a really great time. 👍🤣
Here are some impressions of the #Landscape. Hope you like them. 🤣
I’ll make this a 🧵 due to the 4-image limit. Also, please excuse the fact that images in this thread do not contain a useful #AltText this time. I can’t comment individually an all images in the thread.
