All Zombies Go To Heaven Lyrics 3rd Place #Fedivision 2024
~ #Dgar
I got clouds in my head and I’m feeling kinda dizzy.
My eyes kinda hurt and my hair is all frizzy.
This jacket smells bad and I stepped in something squishy.
I’m feeling kinda hungry, so I gotta get busy.
Walking to the beat and everything is gritty.
Boarded up houses but the gardens look pretty.
Get with the crew and we start to get giddy.
We’re drawn down the street by the promise of the city.
I may fall today,
But I don’t need no confession.
It doesn’t hurt to pray,
But I’ve still got my depression.
Searching for some brains,
It’s kinda my obsession.
I think it’s safe to say,
All zombies go to heaven.
You can see the meat hanging out to dry.
They think they’re safe and believe that lie.
But behind their walls they start to cry.
They see us coming and we won’t die.
We are the hoard and we grow every day.
Trying to make it in a world decayed.
We can’t talk. Got nothing to say,
Paying the price that we all have to pay.
I may fall today,
But I don’t need no confession.
It doesn’t hurt to pray,
But I’ve still got my depression.
Searching for some brains,
It’s kinda my obsession.
I think it’s safe to say,
All zombies go to heaven.
All zombies go to heaven.
I may fall today,
But I don’t need no confession.
It doesn’t hurt to pray,
But I’ve still got my depression.
Searching for some brains,
It’s kinda my obsession.
I think it’s safe to say,
All zombies go to heaven.
All zombies go to heaven.
All zombies,
Go to heaven.
Greatest movie opening ever? Aviation, Rock, and napalm. For my money Apocalypse Now has the greatest opening. The Doors and a perfect song choice, the slowed down thumping or the choppers, the haze, the napalm that fades intoa celing fan and clearly altered Martin Sheen. Coupled with the legendary difficult production... Perfect #ApocalyseNow#theDoors#rock#music

The heavens want you to obey your master.
It’s Monday!! It’s also the three year anniversary of the release of the Mastodon-famous #Dgar song “It’s Always Monday On The Moon”
Written for future moon workers spending long hours doing dangerous work in a lethal environment, my song is about how quickly the enthusiasm for a job like this may disappear quickly due to the isolation and monotonous routine.
I bought this album in 1970 while in high school, for no other reason than I was mezmorized by the cover art, and heard that Miles is hip and I should be listening to him. At the time, I didn't get it and shelved it for years. It took being exposed to much more music to understand what genius is contained on these disks. So much history and influences are amalgamated into this music. #jazz#afro#rock#freejazz#milesdavis#BitchesBrew#nowplaying#vinyl
