Great Blue Heron gone fishing. They are large water birds with long, sharp beaks. At first look it appeared as if he was just walking around with this large fish laying across his bill. The fish was so heavy, he couldn't even lift his head. The outcome is amusing, so follow the link for the whole story. It won't all fit here.

There aren't to many things that feel better then being on the water in the heat of summer. This is the San Clemente Pier, one of the few wooden piers in California. Orange sunset glow in the sky and across the water. The pier is in silhouette with people enjoying the view.

Luckily I have complete control of my office thermostat. 😉 I'm hoping for a slow day but lately those are in short supply, it seems everyone has a crisis order daily, the joys of leadership. 🤦

I finished hiring a summer intern for my program. Happily scheduling out #Pride activities for the summer. Doing some backgrounding on some potential new advo partners. And, as always, a lotta meetings.
I ALSO managed to clean the heck out of my house and even made a bit of wedding planning headway while The Fiance was away on a work trip. He's coming home tomorrow! <3

Today I was able to get to the injury center for my therapy and chiropractic adjustment, hit Total Wino for this months booze, get some groceries from Sprouts, and pick up my re-lensed glasses from the optometrist.
