People often think of California as nothing but desert. Let me change your mind. If that is true, than this is what the desert looks like after a rainy winter. In my last image I gave you a view of the Northern Lights in Iceland. This was the view earlier that evening right outside our little cabin. Iceland really is unique. I've seen sunsets all over the world & there is something about the way the sun hangs low over the horizon as a whole that just makes them different somehow. Ethereal.

Have you ever seen the Northern Lights??? OMG! Incredibly awe inspiring. I was absolutely so giddy with excitement that I couldn't even take a good picture. All I wanted to do was look at it. It warbles around. This is what I saw in Iceland. I still laugh when I think about myself running around in the PJs trying to wake up the family in the dark and get the camera set up. 😂

Along a canal in Florida a tiny Sandhill Crane chick explores with its attentive parents. Surprisingly its parents let it approach rather closely.
