The term «workspace» in is a little misleading sometimes. It’s completely OK, and sometimes even preferrable, to use multiple workspaces for a single task. An example that comes to mind is my illustration workflow: mazimized in one workspace, and , , and sometimes , in another. Workflows like this one will become much more convenient with the planned window management changes. Try to see if you can do your tasks similarly!

Just discovered there is an extension of to quickly edit scientific figures (change axis ratio, font sizes, etc) 🤩

Holy crackers, changed their GUI quite a bit since I last used it. (2019?) Hope it doesn't crash anymore.

Decided trying out making my logo using only circles, seems doable, and it's more clean than current approach

Daudix,

First time using new and shiny «Shape Builder», seems like exactly what I need

Was denkt ihr? (Sofern ihr noch Windows-Büchsen nutzt. 🙃)

Inkscape has a quadratic-time algortithm bug that makes it take hours, or just crash, on certain moderately large files:
    https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/-/issues/4281

Sadly the developers don't seem to care about that...

Lets create a meme-storm. Show people what really means. Make it personal; it happens to people like us. You must protect your kids from it.

See following posts for more examples.

Create your own. Post to other . Keep pushing it.

Avoid licensed images, including stuff from news sites. They always use AP, Getty etc who have slick takedown ops.

Wikimedia and US Gov are good sources of free-to-use images. Check the details.

    Please boost!

Captions: put a gut-punch at the top, and a call to action at the bottom. Keep it simple and emotive. If facts and logic were enough, we wouldn't have a problem.

I used to add the captions, but there are lots of alternative meme-generator apps and web sites.

"kids" has no apostrophe in these because I wanted to leave it ambiguous whether it was singular or plural.

Few time ago, I've talked about a long series of drawing I've made (~120 drawings)

I still have a lot of work on it, but here the first one: Spiderbuli

Drawings were made for a cards game; as you can see, there's Buli & Sausages! :blobcataww:

500characters are not enough to provide additional information, then if you're interested I've added some explanation in pictures ALT text :blobcatcoffee:

    Made with:

Produced playing card (poker card format) Icons on top-left corner are made with Inkscape: - Open source - Dedicated for this kind of work - Easy to use and a lot of functionalities - Natively use SVG file format 🥰 Cards are made with Scribus, software: - Open source - Dedicated for this kind of work - Easy to use and a lot of advanced functionalities - Manage colorprofiles & CMYK really well - Export as PDF/X-3 (for printer service) And the most interesting for me, the file format is an XML file; then: - Create ONE page template - Write a script to associate template file, pictures, text, card type, and generate one big Scribus file with all pages 😍 Then any modification only need to work on a template or a text file with all cards properties, and restart the script to get final file
Here 2 printed versions of the same card. - Left side: first test, original PDF provided in sRGB colorspace, printed on a 300g/m² paper, matte lamination - Right side: second test, original PDF provided in CMYK PSO Coated V3 colorspace, printed on a 350g/m² paper, canvas lamination effect I'll need a third test: - original PDF provided in CMYK PSO Coated V3 colorspace, printed on a 350g/m² paper, matte lamination effect - I'll need to review colors on cards, on first test colors are too dark, on second one color are bright but too much saturated
The card deck: a total of 149cards 😅 Rules for game are not finished yet, and game itself hasn't been tested yet! My work for my vacation: - Test (play) game - Finish to write and affine rules - Check all printed cards one by one to see if everything's fine and note what modification I have to made on it I'm already wondering about cards size, with the poker format texts are too small and it's not easy to appreciate artworks 😇 Possible sizes in millimeters: - Poker: 6.3 x 8.9 - Tarot: 6.0 x 11.2 - A7: 7.4 x 10.5 ==> Third test maybe made with this format
