Dear what's the best MP3 id3 tag editor for MacOS?

I have a bunch of audio books obtained from Humble Bundle, and they have no tags. I need to edit them in bulk and apply title, author, etc.

Dear , is there any good guide to configuring to have multiple kernels associated with distinct virtual environments?

I know that this is a thing that can be done and I have done it, but only by cobbling together the information from docs and partially-useful posts on forums/etc.

I have never encountered a good write-up of it that is beginner-friendly.

(I know that you can install Jupyter into each venv and switch servers, but this is NOT what I am asking about)

Does anyone know if there exists such a thing as a recessed USB receptacle that can fit in a (US) 1 gang electrical box, that would allow me to flush-mount a USB-powered device, so that the cord would just be hidden in back going into the receptacle? The application is that there’s already a box with 110V power to it, where I want to do this.

Dear : What is needed to get Google to show me fun AI suggestions like adding glue to pizza sauce? How do I get the fake- results?

I am not kidding. Most of my searches are on macOS (12 & 14) using Safari and occasionally other browsers (I've got 7 installed...) but I only log into my G accounts on an as-needed basis and because I use a real mail client for email, I almost never need to log in. I wipe cookies on every browser restart.

I see no -generated summary...

: looking for a PC. Mostly for headless home server—Linux w/containers. Currently using a Pi4—but RAM/CPU/mini-SD doesn't quite cut it.

Desiderata: not a full tower if poss (prefer Mac Mini form factor), mainstream architecture, reasonable price, efficient power use.

May wish to add gfx card later for gaming. (eGPU on mini PCs—doable?)

Have built boxes in the distant past, but I value my time.

On iOS 17, how do I load an existing ringtone onto the phone? The online directions I’ve found use iTunes, which is not on current macOS, or recording a sound on the phone. I already have the sound on my computer. I can load the ringtone as a file, but it doesn’t show for phone or text tones.

EDIT: Added solution in reply.

I need a used-working NVMe SSD (2280). Anyone have an one they'd be willing to part with for the cost of shipping (plus a convenience fee)? 1TB preferred, but I'm fine with any size.

I'm looking to do all this under $15.

It's fine if it's used because I want to test if my 2017 desktop supports NVMe (and the answer seems to be... possibly... not even Acer seems to be sure).

Dear I'd like to create a interactive prototype, nothing complicated, just a simple slider than when I move it, animates a range of simulated LEDs (about 100 of them). My first through was Processing but I'm open to other suggestions.

My issue with any choice is the start up cost, it's usually quite tedious to get started before I can get to the fun part. Any suggestions?

Maybe my google-fu has defeated me, but I want to find a sample or template for 's based web application which has:

  • Basic Auth + TOTP or SAML authentication
  • A REST API using API tokens
  • An ORM for database objects
  • An admin interface for manipulating the objects in the ORM

I don't want 12 different howtos documenting how to write an insecure ToDo app using the framework of the week. Also, the same for 's .

Help me you're my only hope.

#LazyWeb query about why a #YouTube #download isn't deterministic.

OBSERVATION:

Download the same video multiple times using yt-dlp URL. The contents aren't the same even minutes apart. The SHA256 hashes don't match.

QUESTION

Why does this happen?

SPECULATION

  • yt-dlp doesn't strip out sponsors in a deterministic way

  • YouTube tweaks the bitrate on the fly despite requesting the highest quality

  • YouTube adds steganographic fingerprints to thwart downloaders via state violence

Another lazy question.

I use to write my posts.

Code is written as:

print("hello")

That's automatically converted to:

<pre><code class="language-python">…

I use HighlightJS to do syntax highlighting. But that pulls in lots of JS which I'd rather avoid.

Is there a decent plugin for doing sever-side rendering of code highlighting which doesn't require blocks / Gutenberg?

I know I can try a few out, but I'd like to hear people's personal experiences.
