@MarvelStudios will we see Kahhori again? I just leaned of her character in What If…? And loved her character so much.

“what would happen if the Tesseract fell to Earth & landed in the sovereign Haudenosaunee Confederacy before the colonization of America … leading Kahhori, a young Mohawk woman, on a quest to discover her power.”

Finally a figure in Studio Series again. 😮 And still might be the only one for a while so better make the most of it even though it's a core class figure (the smallest class in SS). But hey it's a fun one. Lil weirdo Mohawk. Decent articulation for size including jaw and ankle tilts. Transforms well. Fun to pose. Bike mode is a lil too thick to put a rider on though but that's ok. I like him. 🙂

Do you know the animated Marvel tv show "What if... ?"
It explores alternative universes in short stories.

The 2nd season is not as good as the first one, except for one fresh gem: the 6th episode.
I really recommend it!
Good and interesting story, gorgeous ligtning and scenery.

It's about a bold young Kanien'kehá woman (the Mohawk nation), in the age of the conquistadors, who cross the path of a superpower source.
All the episode is spoken in mohawk langage, except for some spanish characters.👍

Close up of Kahhori, the heroine, a Kanien'kehá (Mohawk) young woman, into the woods, with a beautiful lightning.
Kahhori sits into dark woods, teal night light, in front of huge trees with pieces of glowing and colorful barks (one pink and violet, another green, other orange, etc).
Two people stands in the foreground, are on the lookout of a very big thing with beige and luminous blue scales, on sunset light.

Very cool that this episode of the new season of is performed almost entirely in by a mostly Mohawk cast.

I just finished shucking the beans from my tiny three sisters garden. These are Kahnawake pole beans. They are gorgeous. I got my first few seeds from a Mohawk seed saver in Six Nations. This is an heirloom Haudenosaunee variety. Hopefully, these will go on to make even more seeds and feed people.

Today in Labor History August 28, 1990: New York state police closed all roads to the St. Regis Mohawk reservation to prevent Mohawks from crossing the international border during a protest to defend Mohawk land from private development of a golf course. On March 11, 1990, members of the Mohawk community erected a barricade blocking access to the dirt side road between Route 344 and "The Pines". After ignoring 2 court injunctions ordering them to remove the barricades, the police intervened, deploying tear gas and concussion grenades, and opening fire on the Mohawks. After a 15-minute gun battle, the police retreated, abandoning six cruisers and a bulldozer, which the Mohawks seized. The conflict lasted from 7/11-9/26/1990, with 2,500 non-local activists and warriors supporting 600 local Mohawks against an army of 4,500 soldiers and 2,000 police. One person was killed on each side. After 26 days of siege without supplies being let through, the land defenders ended the struggle. However, the cops and military continued to attack them after they began to leave, including a 14-year-old, who was bayoneted near the heart, and who almost died from her wound. But the golf course expansion was halted.
