Had chickenpox too, very itchy.

How are they doing? Are things ok? And often, How are their dogs now?

I know people have lots of reasons to stop, and that's fine. But I sure miss a lot of folks I used to read. I wish them well and hope they're ok.

I like to read, mostly science fiction and fantasy, some horror, some mystery, a bit of other stuff.

I'm a process knitter, mostly knitting to keep my hands busy and my mind quiet. I spin a little too.

I took me courage in hand today and pulled out my sister's sewing machine. It's a Brother, more modern than anything else I've sewn on. It's got some neat features, and it doesn't seem to be too hard to use.
I cut and hemmed a length of linen I bought ages ago and made four dish towels. Yay me!

My husband dropped his AirPods case. Both pods popped out. One was easy to find; the other has fallen into an eddy in the space-time continuum or turned to gas or something. We looked all over, no joy.
We'll look again in the morning. Maybe it will have dropped back out again by then.

Willow update:
She got her sts out today! Her incisions have been healing really well.
Vet says the large mass he removed as a soft tissue sarcoma, grade 2. He believes he got it all, and chances of recurrence are probably low. We'll keep a close eye on her, but so far, so good.🤞

What is your all time favorite automobile? Anyone who is a fan of Supernatural knows. 1967 Chevrolet Impala, black, four door. If you mean cars I've owned that would be a 2018 Kia Soul. It was my first new car. My daughter drives it now.

@Urbanhedgelady @maddad My 1993 Mitsubishi Expo LRV. Hatchback, manual transmission, sliding back door o passenger side. Kinda boxy, but cute. Got good gas mileage, was fun to drive. I drove it for 15+ years and something like 170,000 (going on old memory here, might not be quite accurate.) I was a bad owner, didn’t do good maintenance, but had very few probs in spite of that.
A great little car!

    I actually got out of the house today! I got gas in the car, went to Kinokuniya and bought some stuff I liked but didn't NEED*, then went to Target. Tomorrow I'll go out and get a haircut.

    *except for the smol totoro I got as an emotional support totoro for when I go to the dentist next time.

    @kimlockhartga @bookstodon I have one: an early paperback of Startide Rising by David Brin. He came to the ole Science Fiction & Mystery Bookstore in Atlanta a few decades ago. I was a really big fan at the time, and showed up. (I usually don’t WANT to meet my heroes, for fear of being disappointed.
    He signed it “To Janice, a lady with lovely eyes, David Brin”
    He said at the time he wanted to personalize his autographs while he could.
