Trump's trial is about voter deception. Even the fact that it's being called a "hush money" trial is voter deception. The crime here is financial but it's also one of the worst assaults on democracy and fair elections in American history, besides all his other ones.

I read one of those "kitchen gadgets no one needs" articles a few days ago. The author panned the battery-operated salt & pepper mills especially those with a LED work light. The article was pushing manual grinders.

Just used my rechargable grinders with lights. No need turn on overhead lights. Arthritic hands also appreciated the electric grinders, too. TB fair the article allowed that arthritis was a reason for using electricity.

What do you think about lighted grinders?

@Colin Well, that can be an issue. Have you told her about putting lanolin supplement drops in your food? Or maybe you have an allergy to the dry food? I’m sure if you leave her a list of possibles, she’ll consider all of them. She adores you.

In his mind, there would be throngs outside the court, chanting his name. He could be Mussolini on the balcony, acknowledging their support and how much he deserved it. 3 people show up. Now, just one, with a placard and a huge round bell. But you know what bothers him a lot? He has to show up, on time, in court. He can’t keep the court waiting on him. He has no power in there. He is visibly diminished. And the crowds… are only in his mind. Court doesn’t wait… 1 man with a bell… distillation

Politics isn’t toxic, it’s adversarial. The way politics is covered in the press is toxic. Media gatekeepers only allow the poison to fill the streams from which we gather. Break up the monopolies. Force them to divest. Make news local. Local papers always had the feel of their beat, their town, city, state, and they also reported national/global events. Media giants feed us rage bait and watch us destroy ourselves. Free the Press from the chokehold of corporate overlords.
