I don't think it's a GDPR violation. They just have to remove the connection between your posts and your account. At least that's what they claim, and it sounds plausible.

Did you ever need to adjust some time series for the count of members in a given year? I did. It turned out to be quite tedious, because I wanted to allow for the fact that not all enlargements happened at the first of January (so the membership count of that year is actually a fraction), and take lap years into account. Brexit included.

Yesterday, we marked the entry into force of new EU rules to empower consumers in the green transition.

Under those rules, companies will be forbidden to make vague environmental claims, such as stating that they are โ€˜greenโ€™ or โ€˜environmentally friendlyโ€™ if
they cannot demonstrate that they truly are.

  2. Slap a UI on top of the clean data to analyse things like

  • Abscences of persons
  • Interjections (tell you more about a person than speeches really...)
  • What silly signs they put up on the speakers desk
  • search speeches
  • ..

@dpwiz @Sherifazuhur @simon_brooke I think the confusion arises from the section of the judgement that demands that Israel refrains from "killing members of the group", but this is to be understood in the context of Article II of the Genocide Convention, where it refers to killings "with
intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group". So it's not a wholesale ban on "attacks".

The article explains very well benefits of descriptive research. This is to be welcomed, but I think the lack of description in publications is not a lack of understanding of what it is good for. It is rather that causal research is seen as superior and the default research goal to have (for many journals at least). 1/ @politicalscience
