Huh. Just paid my tax - I wouldn’t mind so much if I felt it was going to say, the NHS ✊. Instead I suspect- based on previous evidence - it’s just going to end up in the greasy hands of Tory donors, Tory mates, someone a Tory MP once met in a pub.

This is Ffridd Rasus, ‘race field’ - loosely - which was, once upon a time, a racetrack. Then a WW2 military camp, now a tangle of birch and pine woods behind the tip. I do like a poetic location. So does Not My Labrador. Sniff potential off the chart.

Daily #Wales in winter - the tidal floods of 2014.

We usually get some flooding, but (almost) ten years ago, it was very bad indeed; there were helicopter flights with ballast hoping to mend the breaks in the sea defences. The damage was extensive - the railway line was washed away in several places (at one point, a train driver had to reverse quickly) and closed for months; farmers lost stock, etc, etc. We’re in the middle of a storm ATM. 🤞
