In 2020, Apress published my first book, 'Arduino Software Internals'. My second, 'Arduino Interrupts' was published in Dec 2023. I'm writing another as well as a 2nd edition of 'Internals' to document recent changes.

It regularly destroys my bird feeder, or knocks it to the ground, but when I go out to admonish it, the thing just comes up to me looking for peanuts. Hard to remain angry with something this cute, especially when it’s likely just hungry too.

23. What gets in the way of your writing?

My wife.
My dog.

I write my books in advance, then submit them for publication as "completed" because I cannot be held to actual dates.

My family take priority over my books, hence my way of writing. Takes about 2--3 years for each book though! However, technical books must be accurate.

Good morning fellow Mastos and hello Thursday. The rain has finally stopped. For now, it's coming back later. I better get Wesley out for a wander. He was miserable yesterday as he got wet twice and had to have a shower!

MrsD is giving grief to a letting agent who is demanding 3 payslips and a non-retired guarantor for a rental. How do retired people get payslips? How many have non-retired friends as guarantors!

Spiders, they don't bother me but, if peppermint doesn't work, horse chestnuts scattered around the cave does work. The problem is finding them at this time of year.

@RosePuckey I don't think I've ever been nibbled by spiders. I've heard about people who have and it's pretty bad sometimes.

I think your skins might be from Lapland if it's the Sámi you are referring to, but don't quote me on that! I'm a husband and therefore always wrong. 😉
