Time to cook dinner. My soul is exiting my body. I have limited ingredients because I haven't full grocery shopped since we got back from vacation. Just did a produce run. I've offered the following choices:

1. Breakfast for Dinner
2. Japchae
3. Dim Sum

I've yet to get a straight answer from my 4 family members as to what they want to eat. Not a single person has an opinion until food is on the table. Then these bastards think they're at Burger King and they can have it their way.

What the hell is going on at the grocery? For the last 3 weeks they've been out of green onions and garlic. I've got like 2 frozen cubes of garlic left.. I even went to 2 different stores. I have a really nice looking pork shoulder in the fridge, but I can't cook that without garlic. It's wrong.

Have you ever had to cut a person off because they were too toxic or bat shit crazy? A person you knew there would be repercussions for cutting off, but you just have to do it to end the insanity? Have you second guessed yourself or been told by others you're being too extreme?

I was thinking today of all the red flag events that lead to me cutting off my in-laws. Mostly because one of hubs relatives died and I'm debating going to the funeral. It wasn't a relative he was super close with and I only met them once, but it feels a bit wrong not to pay my respects

I'm sick today and couldn't decide between chicken noodle soup or curry for lunch so made some unholy amalgamation of the two and it's just everything right now. It's spicy, gingery, chicken-y, coconut-y. All I know is I'm breathing through my nose right now and managed to use up some more of the massive amount of Thai chilis in my fridge.
