Donald Trump now has the most detailed policy platform of his political career -- and it's largely the work of two people you've never heard of.

Trump campaign speechwriters and are the masterminds behind most of Trump's policy statements. The two worked under Stephen in the Trump White House.

Haley and Worthington write the first drafts of scripts Trump uses to record policy videos as well as the text on how a second Trump administration would handle issues from education to energy and immigration.

Those videos and corresponding text on his website go into far more detail than Trump, who famously has little interest in policy, does on the stump.

Trump often goes off-script in his speeches and spends just 11% of the time talking about his policy plans, an Axios analysis found.

His campaign aides frequently say that he is the most gifted politician and ultimately decides how to message on the issues.

Trump and his team are also in frequent communication with a constellation of figures on policy ideas, including Trump's former trade representative Robert and former White House budget director Russell , WSJ reported.

The Stephen Miller connection:
Haley and Worthington worked under Miller in the White House speechwriting office for four years, co-managing the speechwriting shop.

"Miller would always go over speech drafts" including both official and political speeches that Haley and Worthington wrote, Worthington told Jan. 6 committee investigators in February 2022 after being subpoenaed.

Though they have next to no public presence, they are known to be very chatty on the campaign's daily internal comms call.

While Miller is not technically on the campaign, his relationship with his former subordinates and his direct line to Trump allow him to maintain a consequential role in shaping a potential Trump second term.

Between the lines: Both men have deep ties to former House Speaker Newt .

Haley, a lawyer by training, served as policy director and campaign manager for Gingrich's 2012 presidential campaign. They co-authored several books together and Haley was an associate producer on Gingrich's documentary Ronald Reagan: Rendezvous with Destiny.

Worthington was deputy communications director for Gingrich's 2012 presidential campaign and later authored a book with Gingrich.

Another Provocative Flag Was Flown at Another Home

Last summer,
two years after an upside-down American flag was flown outside the Virginia home of Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr.,
another provocative symbol was displayed at his vacation house in New Jersey, according to interviews and photographs.

This time, it was the
♦️ “Appeal to Heaven” flag, ♦️
which, like the inverted U.S. flag, was carried by rioters at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
Also known as the
💥Pine Tree flag, 💥
it dates back to the Revolutionary War, but largely fell into obscurity until recent years and is
👉 now a symbol of support for former President Donald J. Trump, for a religious strand of the “Stop the Steal” campaign and for a push to remake American government in Christian terms.

Three photographs obtained by The New York Times, along with accounts from a half-dozen neighbors and passers-by, show that the Appeal to Heaven flag was aloft at the Alito home on Long Beach Island in July and September of 2023.
A Google Street View image from late August also shows the flag.

When the story of the Third Reich is told, several explanations are put forward for
how a party that gained only 2.6 per cent of votes in the German elections of 1928
was able to establish a radical dictatorship just five years later:

the Wall Street Crash, the legacy of the First World War and Hitler’s charisma, to name a few.

But one aspect that often receives less attention is
💥the influence of Germany’s elite on the events of the late 1920s and early 1930s. 💥

According to University of Edinburgh historian Stephan Malinowski, contributor to a new BBC Two series, The Rise of the Nazis, a small group of powerful actors played a critical role in the creation of the Third Reich

Around the world, people are experiencing the once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon of a brilliant aurora display, as massive doses of solar radiation bombard the atmosphere turning it into gigantic radioactive florescent lights (nothing to see down here in L.A. though this evening, and city lights make it even less likely). Enjoy the show!

BUT REMEMBER THIS, DEAR FRIENDS!

In the 1963 horror/sci-fi classic "The Day of the Triffids", a lengthy, once-in-a-lifetime spectacular display of massive glowing meteor showers lasts long enough for the entire planet to see it at night. Everyone able to do so was urged to see this wonder!

The next morning, everyone who had viewed the amazing display was blind. And then the giant mobile man-eating plants that had arrived with the meteors, spread across the Earth.

ENJOY!

Apparently that's too "partisan" for people whose fetish for balance has led them to help democracy's enemies.

After Hitler’s rise to power in 1933, some German Americans formed groups to support the Nazi party in Germany and attempt to influence American politics.
The most notorious of these groups was
the 🔸German-American Bund🔸, which tried to model itself as an American arm of Hitler’s Third Reich.
Although these groups wore uniforms and touted swastikas, in reality, they had few ties to Nazi Germany and their support among the larger German-American community was minimal.
Nevertheless, the group strongly promoted hatred for Jews and strove to bring Nazi-style fascism to the United States.
Initial support for American fascist organizations did come from Germany.
In May 1933 Nazi Deputy Führer Rudolf Hess gave authority to German immigrant
👉Heinz to create an American Nazi organization.
Shortly thereafter the 🔸Friends of New Germany🔸was created with help from the German consul in New York City.
The organization was based in New York but had a strong presence in Chicago.
The organization led by Spanknobel was openly pro-Nazi and engaged in activities
such as storming the German-language New Yorker Staats-Zeitung with the demand that Nazi-sympathetic articles be published,
and the infiltration of other non-political German-American organizations.
Spanknobel was ousted as the leader and subsequently deported in October 1933 when it was discovered he had failed to register as a foreigner agent.

The organization existed into the mid-1930s, although it always remained small, with a membership of between 5,000-10,000.

Mostly German citizens living in America and German emigrants who only recently had become citizens composed its ranks.

The organization busied itself with verbal attacks against Jews, Communists, and the Versailles Treaty.

Until 1935 the organization was openly supported by the Third Reich, although soon Nazi officials realized the organization was doing more harm than good in America and in December 1935 Hess ordered that all German citizens leave the Friends of New Germany;
also, all the group’s leaders were recalled to Germany.

Not long after the Friends of New Germany fell out of favor with the Nazis and was dismantled,
a new organization with similar goals arose in its place.

Formed in March 1936 in Buffalo/New York and calling itself the ♦️German-American Bund ♦️or Amerikadeutscher Volksbund,
the organization chose Fritz as its Bundesleiter.

The organization was soon filled with those calling themselves “Germans in America” and dreamed of the day when Nazism would rule the United States.

Although they were instructed not to accept German citizens in their organization,
they were not about to turn down anyone interested and many immigrants joined.

It is estimated that around 25% of Bund members were German nationals
—the rest being mostly first or second-generation Germans.

The Bund soon began to hold rallies filled with swastikas, Nazi salutes, and the singing of German songs.

The Bund created recreational camps such as Camp Siegfried in New York and Camp Nordland in New Jersey.

It also established Camp Hindenburg in Wisconsin and the group met frequently in Milwaukee and Chicago beer halls.
