My dad was always a bit of a hipster.
In His 20s he rode a Penny Farthing bicycle, then, in later life, a 1939 Riley.
In his 70’s, made himself a Coracle, which he attempted to paddle on the Thames, near Chelsea Bridge. He was intercepted by a policeman.
The second voyage was more successful: in the pond outside his house, on Wandsworth Common.

He was a Dude.
I miss him.

There's people arguing that the Apple Crush! ad is "neat" and "fun".

It's literally showing the wanton destruction of things we love and make us human. Including shots that makes you identify with the things as a viewer.

I don't understand what's wrong with people. Do they not have emotions?

🧵Here’s my exclusive design for a workable seniors’ remote.

Arrived at after years of hair pulling and button obscuring.

TV has a monster YouTube* playlist of all her musical bangers playing (auto-play On). Via a Apple TV (Or Chromecast)

The green button simply turns on/off the screen and sound, but doesn’t stop the video device playing.

Fail safe!

2) EVERY manufacturer should be FORCED to provide a pared down remote with their TVs & Boxes, that doesn’t have enough fucking buttons to control a space shuttle.

*YouTube “free” amounts to psychological torture for seniors. Don’t subject them to it. A shitshow of incomprehensible random ads does not induce happiness.

So little consideration for what we all will eventually need.

I rarely drive. I had to drive across London today. Main thought, was how utterly filthy the whole place looks, everything caked in grey dirt - thrown up by a bazillion cars.

Going through Tooting, there where Susana Hill Anti Ulez Plackards taped to junction railings.

They were filthy, too.

The young chap who collected was monosyllabic. He complained that he didn’t have anything to cary away with. 🤷

Didn’t say thanks.

Later than day, saw him in Twitter, flexing to his mates about how he had nabbed a ‘monster set’ up from an old gezzer (53).

I lit up his feed like a Christmas tree 😡
