On one hand, it was crucial in my diagnosis, and being able to talk to others with the same condition has been helpful in helping me cope and assuring me I am not alone.
On the other hand, the internet is so very distracting. #youtube and #reddit have eaten so much of my time. And now #mastodon , #kbin , and #lemmy compete for my attention as well
Started on a higher dose of Elvanse today. Day one is far too early to declare any success, but I’ve been home for two hours and have helped to break down a bed, moved furniture around, and climbed up into the loft twice to fit a mounting bolt for my better half’s hammock, and I’m doing ok.
Trouble is, I remember feeling like this after I changed from Xenidate to Elvanse, but it soon wore off.
arguably, delaying things until they are absolutely necessary to do (and testing the limits of that) is a skill, not a deficit. i mean, did it REALLY have to be done before that point? 😜 #ADHD
So #ADHD#mastodon , what tips do you have to pull yourself out of a funk? I started the year productive enough, but have been more or less been stuck in neutral since this spring.
I hoping not only can you help me, but others here who might be in the same situation, but don't feel comfortable asking.
Does it sometimes occur to you that you made a decision with full conviction and all of a sudden or step by step you thought exactly the opposite? I'm asking myself: Has this something to do with #ADHD or #AuDHD ? Or is it just me or rather 'my other disorders'?
it's easy enough to pay attention. anyone can do that. but are you dedicating your attention to the right thing, at the right time, in the right place? that's what concentration is. my issue was always with that. CDHD. Concentration Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
